It’s here! Our label Livid Records officially released our first EP, The Modern Handshake, yesterday. We’re supremely excited to have this exist, and we can’t wait for you guys to hear it. You can get it pretty much anywhere digitally — iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, CDBaby, BandCamp, stream on Spotify – and if you’re a fan of holding records in your hands, like us, you can also get hard copies via Livid Records! So, pick up a copy, rate it, review it, pass it along, let us know what you think. This is a very special moment for us and we’re so glad to see it become a reality. Big thanks to our producer Jamie Muffett for being patient and helpful during the recording process. • We had an awesome show on Saturday at Bar Matchless in Brooklyn, and had the pleasure of being on a bill with some great bands, including The Party Faithful, Dharma Body and Rocket Miner. Special thanks to our Chicago friends Rocket Miner for setting the gig up, and for our buddy band Heliotropes for getting us on the bill. Check ‘em both out. They’re excellent.

• We’re gonna have hard copies of The Modern Handshake at our next show at Trash Bar! We’re playing Thursday, 6/7. We go on at 9 pm, but the music starts at 8. $7 at the door, 21+. Swing by to snag a copy and a button or two! We’d love to see you. We may even have a new song to show off.

• Music blog Radio Free Titan had some nice words about the EP, too! They said the EP “features some fun indie garage rock that I guess can be described as new wave, but sounds more like how new wave bands sounded right during when they broke away from the punk scene.” We agree!
